Ebenezer is of course from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The Bible story is where Samuel sets up an Ebenezer stone, literally "stone of help" to remind Israel of a victory against the Philistines clearly won only with God's help. Samuel had cried out to the LORD for the Israelites when they were surrounded by enemies, and the enemies basically destroyed themselves. To God be all glory, Lisa of Longbourn
I see you've caught me. I don't know where they are mentioned in the Bible, but know that you are speaking of Scrooge. Sad, I suppose.
