Scale of Feminism

You Are 17% Feminist

You are definitely not a feminist. In fact, you are every feminist's worst nightmare.
You believe that women belong in the kitchen.... barefoot and pregnant.
I saw this on Crystal's blog. She is only 10% feminist, but I assume she put either strongly agree or strongly disagree on every answer. Since I was little, I have looked for trick questions and nuances in surveys, so I can't say I totally agree with things. Also there is one question that I think can be taken the wrong way. Men and women should be held to the same moral standards - but I think both should be held to strict moral standards, the opposite of that indicated by the survey.
About the barefoot and pregnant thing... uh, that doesn't count when you're not married. But I don't like shoes. Who likes shoes, honestly?
To God be all glory.

  1. Lisa...

    I love shoes...

not any shoes... not the idea of shoes... or the hideous process of purchasing shoes...

    but...

    I do love...

    my shoes...

If I could introduce you, I would... but they can't talk...

(A little absurd, and unnerving perhaps... but if you knew my shoes the way I do, and could overlook the fact that they are, for all intents and purposes of this discussion, "Senior Citizens" of the shoe world, then you might like my good shoe friends azwel. they're fun to hang out with and they'd go with you anywhere... and even if they don't quite fit the occasion they help define me, and are thus, a comfort in a time of need. I like my shoes... I almost can't bear the thought of their all-to-near... *gasp* death!)

but... uh oh... I'm not a feminist now, am I???

    Oh, good...

and I also enjoy a good barefoot day, myself...

So in the field of choosing opinion, it is often the case that one can legitimately afford to "have more cake and eat it too."

and so I am, and so I do.

While maintaining my serious position of anti-femenism... I choose to like both shoes and barefeet.

Thanks for sharing, Lisa... You always help me to think.

  2. You're every feminist's worst nightmare! That's a great line.

Thanks for standing for God and His morals in this dry and thirsty land.
