A thirty-something homeschool graduate who once promised her mother she didn't need to learn grammar because she'd never be an author is hopelessly a writer at heart. I'm a Christian who loves to ask thoughtful questions, and who finds thought-provoking material in unlikely sources. A lady in waiting, I'm the oldest of six children still living at home, pursuing the efficient acquisition of knowledge through books and practice.

Thank you :) There's no such thing as a verse too well-worn to get anything out of.
(I did finally post about skiing ...)
Don't you think that's why Paul charged Timothy to 'preach the Word,' not be witty, or entertain them so they'll listen?
What if instead of the sermon or lesson the teacher/preacher/pastor/facilitator just read a book of the Bible?
I was challenged in the area of evangelism in this book. I struggle so much to just open my mouth and start talking!
Liz, I don't think I've ever heard this verse expounded, so it isn't too well-worn for me!
To God be all glory,
