This paragraph was especially exciting:
Think about what that means. Jesus didn't come to earth looking for a beautiful bride, going back to heaven disappointed because no one lived up to His standards. No, He worked actively creating beauty through His death on the cross and the power of the gospel. He gave His life so that whoever repents of their sin and puts their faith in His finished work on the cross might become part of His dazzlingly beautiful bride! It's a promise He made and it's a promise He will keep.
I almost didn't want to read anymore, because I saw it. I've seen it before, but every time it is wonderful. Jesus made us beautiful for Himself, presenting us to Himself. He wants to share His glory. And that is what human marriage partly pictures. This is why submission doesn't seem bad to me. It's why it seemed like a good deal for women to Paul when he wrote Ephesians 5. "As Christ loved the church," he emphasized.
Be challenged. Be delighted. Remember God's incredible grace toward you.

I have read about females who write letters/poems to their future husbands-to-be.Have you done that before? It would be interesting for him when he reads them.
That was a good article on the type of beauty we should look for.There was another good article from boundless I came across on a blog.It's called "Brother,Your like a Six" by Scott Croft.It'a about people who want everything in a mate.He discusses the differences between Biblical attraction and worldly attraction.It's similar in outlook to the beauty article.Have you seen it before? Boundless does have many good articles.

Seriously though, it's cool that you do that.
I had to re-read my post to see whether I mentioned writing letters. The truth is that I started writing letters in a journal about a year ago. Same purpose; to remind me what I'm aiming for, and because I like to be known. I joked once that I'd hand a fiance a book of knowledge about Lisa, but decided it was best to get to know people through spending time rather than reading the biography! Still, the letters aren't biographical as much as testimonial. If that makes sense. I keep reassuring myself I'm not crazy. There's a movie called Everything You Want where the girl has an imaginary boyfriend, and I'm not like that.
I haven't seen the other Boundless article you mentioned, Robert. My brother and I were discussing that there are so many articles to weed our way through in Boundless, and I don't keep up with all of them. But I like getting references, letting other people find the good ones for me.
There is no year to my anniversary. Nor is there a year to the "anniversary" we celebrate anticipating our Lord's return with the Lord's Supper, but I do believe that celebration is part of the sacrament. This anniversary is about faith. And hope. Hope for the incredible man I've yet to meet.
